Matthew G.If you are looking for a ligthtweight alternative to a Camelbak, this is for you. If you are a petite person (I'm 5' and 100 lbs) frustrated by gear that is too big and therefore chafes and throws you off balance, this is for you. It's easy to put on, easy to wear, and easy to clean. The bite straw is efficient and easily tucks into the elastic loops. You can put a phone in the pack with the bladder if you are in an area with low humidity (due to condensation); just seal the cap well. The only catch-22 is that the super adjustable and sturdy velcro on the straps can snag your shirt if you don't align them perfectly.
PennameThis is exactly what I was looking for in a hydration pack, something light that doesn't budge when I run. I ran 8 miles with it today and forgot it was on my back. The neoprene forms so well to your back that it almost feels like it is stuck to it. I can't wait to try it in the water.

Scoty A.On the suggestion of a friend, I ordered this for the Spartan Super. I am small (5'3", 118 lbs.) and many other hydration packs are too bulky, take on too much water (during obstacles), or chafe. This pack is awesome! Extremely low profile with soft straps. It velcros across the front just under the breasts.
Note that there is no zipper pocket for fuel, but in the large pouch which contains the bladder, I put chews, gel, and a protein bar no problem. My Spartan teammate had that in hers plus compression sleeves and gloves.

Kelly C.Needed a affordable but reliable pack for OCR racing, and so far this has done well. Took it through a 14 mile Spartan Beast and for a few laps (15 out of 25 miles) during a Battlefrog Xtreme. Fits tight, no extra bounces, and so far hasn't fallen apart anywhere even if wet and caked with mud. Only downside is lack of places to store nutrients if needed, but its sole purpose is hydration and it does that well!
Phil BBought this for an OCR race after reading a number of reviews. It’s the perfect pack for hot recess. I soaked the neoprene pre-race and it helped my back stay cool during the race. While there isn’t a dedicated pocket, I was able to stuff my gloves, a small rag and some energy gems in the main compartment where the reservoir goes.
It comes with a 1.5l reservoir. I was able to fit a 2l reservoir in it but it was a wider/not longer reservoir.

Ellen F.I needed a water source for long runs in south Florida where hydration is important. I LOVE this. It fits me perfectly and is extremely light in its construction. The neoprene is great. I didn't like the camelback because of the heavy canvas straps and the canvas body - all I could feel was bulky and chafing. It has a small place for the gu if you use that, but no where really to hold your phone - I just tuck it into the strap and it works fine.
Jennifer M.My son gets so hot and dehydrated running. He asked me to find something that wouldn't bounce around. This has great padded straps and a cross strap to make sure it doesn't slosh around. He does need to make sure he gets ALL the air out before starting to run. He calls it burping the dolphin. Nice wide opening to clean it out. I put paper towels inside to let it air dry
JLRMRan the Spartan Beast in Lake Tahoe 10/1/16 in this and was extremely satisfied, light weight, low profile and durable. The Velcro worked well and never came loose, only knock is if you use the dust cap the holder doesn't work, I brought my own Velcro strip to hold it in place while I ran. Overall great buy and will use it in all of the longer Spartan runs and in training. Also since there are no pockets I filled 3/4 full and there was plenty of room to put a Ziploc bag with my energy beans, salt tabs and beef jerky.
