Sylvia M.So I have only used this once, but I really loved my first experience with it! I have had others in the past and like so many elements of this one way better. I use this for longer distance runs or will use in the summer when its too hot to run without water.
I like the material, it feels very water friendly for all the sweat that I get on it ;) It was very lightweight and didn't jiggle around at all! Even the water in the bladder didn't bother me, I couldn't hear it over my tunes playing. I am slightly worried that the velcro will wear out, but I'll cross that bridge if it happens then!
The mouthpiece is very easy to bit down on and there is a on/off switch which is a really nice feature.
The position on the chest may be a little funky for women with larger breasts. While my chest is rather small, I did not have this issue, but due to the placement of the straps, I'm not sure if they would fit well under larger ones or make them uncomfortable?
But overall I like how small and lightweight this is! Perfect for just the right amount of water needed for a 2-3 hour run :)
Megan GoodeRan the Spartan Beast in Lake Tahoe 10/1/16 in this and was extremely satisfied, light weight, low profile and durable. The Velcro worked well and never came loose, only knock is if you use the dust cap the holder doesn't work, I brought my own Velcro strip to hold it in place while I ran. Overall great buy and will use it in all of the longer Spartan runs and in training. Also since there are no pockets I filled 3/4 full and there was plenty of room to put a Ziploc bag with my energy beans, salt tabs and beef jerky.

Adam D.The DolfinPack Lightweight does as it was advertised. Light and compact, I can see myself running with it on my back. Don't buy this product if you expect to carry big items in the pack with the water bladder filled. I fit a wallet, keys, and squeezed a 100 page 8"x 11" magazine in the pack with a little struggle. All in all, I can see myself using this item for many outdoor adventures with and without a shirt.
Brown R.I absolutely love my DolfinPack! It's comfortable to wear and does the job I need. I mostly use it for Spartan Races, but have taken it on canoe and kayak outings, as well as runs around the neighborhood or on trails. The water bladder holds enough to get me through all my evens. It is easy to clean and doesn't hold smells (like from preworkout or BCAA powder). The neoprene pack washes clean after each race! I can throw my keys, snacks, or anything inside and am not concerned about losing them! I highly recommend this pack!
DeeRexI bought this for my grandson for his birthday. He and his dad go on long hikes so this make things so much easier now that he doesn't have to carry his water bottle! It is very light weight.
Kelly C.I bought this for a Spartan race and it worked very well. The velcro fasteners worked well for keeping it high on my back and not bouncing around. The dust cover is key for not getting a muddy mouthpiece to drink from. Plus the holes in the back drain out all the water and mud.
Andrew E.I needed a water source for long runs in south Florida where hydration is important. I LOVE this. It fits me perfectly and is extremely light in its construction. The neoprene is great. I didn't like the camelback because of the heavy canvas straps and the canvas body - all I could feel was bulky and chafing. It has a small place for the gu if you use that, but no where really to hold your phone - I just tuck it into the strap and it works fine.
Jennifer M.Needed a affordable but reliable pack for OCR racing, and so far this has done well. Took it through a 14 mile Spartan Beast and for a few laps (15 out of 25 miles) during a Battlefrog Xtreme. Fits tight, no extra bounces, and so far hasn't fallen apart anywhere even if wet and caked with mud. Only downside is lack of places to store nutrients if needed, but its sole purpose is hydration and it does that well!
Phil BUsed this for a Spartan Super and it went great! Definitely much slimmer compared to traditional water backpacks and kept out the mud that I was rolling around it. Also, there is plenty of room to store energy gels in the large compartment for during race energy. This is already cleaned and ready for the upcoming Beast!
Joshua W.I purchased my DolfinPack mainly for Spartan OCRs and for my long runs. I researched several different brands and found this one to be a great fit for my needs. I have had it for about 7 months and I absolutely love how lightweight this product is, the material is breathable (need that in a Florida!) and it does the job. I did have to request a replacement after 6 months when I noticed that the seams started coming apart on one side and the strap began ripping. However, I still give this product 5 stars because the customer service is PHENOMENAL because within 24 hours of putting in my initial request (on a Sunday, no less) my replacement was already on its way to me. One thing I do wish it did have was an exterior pocket for fuel and/or keys so I don't have to put in the main pocket with my hydration pack.
JackieI use this pack for skiing and it fits perfect - high enough on my back that I don't even feel it on the chair lift. It feels too tight with layers of clothing underneath but I usually just leave the straps loose. I am 6'1" and 180 pounds.
James D.On the suggestion of a friend, I ordered this for the Spartan Super. I am small (5'3", 118 lbs.) and many other hydration packs are too bulky, take on too much water (during obstacles), or chafe. This pack is awesome! Extremely low profile with soft straps. It velcros across the front just under the breasts.
Note that there is no zipper pocket for fuel, but in the large pouch which contains the bladder, I put chews, gel, and a protein bar no problem. My Spartan teammate had that in hers plus compression sleeves and gloves.

Britney P.Bought this for my wife to use while on a standup paddle board. She loves it, It's very comfortable, simple and not fussy with a lot of buckles and straps. Seven months later some of the stitching started to come apart so I contacted DolfinPack through their website and was surprised with a very prompt response. I sent them some pictures of the stitching and FOUR days later - shipped to HAWAII - a replacement was in my mailbox! I don't know if anyone could expect better customer service. I was going to wait for my current hydration pack to fall apart before replacing it but am so impressed that I ordered a DolfinPack for myself.
